The largest digital transformation ever undertaken in the Nordics by a Top Ten EU Bank achieved significant successes, yet it also encountered serious challenges, some of which manifested in a “Save The Bank” scenario suddenly unfolding. Exceptional results were urgently needed in the IT optimization domain to avoid serious impacts to the business. Eagle Rock’s consultants, recognizing where and why previous attempts had failed, set about developing a pioneering IT FinOps optimization methodology, that required no new software nor new budget. Initial results were extracted within 10 days, with cumulative results subsequently exceeding industry-leading benchmarks and best practice targets (set by McKinsey) by over 2000%.
